In the hustle and bustle of daily work, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters.
When we’re constantly fighting fires, or we’re continuously ‘busy’, our brain is always full or ‘cloudy’. It doesn’t have the energy or ability to look at things calmly & objectively.
I should know… I am the Queen of busy, although I like to call it ‘productive’ as it makes me feel better. 😊
And that’s why I am a huge fan of Clarity Breaks.
What do I mean by that? And why do we lose sight of what really matters?
I like to use an analogy that Gino Wickman shared with me to explain it.
Imagine a glass of water with sand in it.
If the glass is always moving, then the sand stays suspended in the water, and it’s cloudy. All you can see are the grains of sand swirling around in the glass.
Put the glass down & allow it to remain still for a while & the water clears. Suddenly, everything becomes clear.
Imagine doing that for your brain.
That’s what a Clarity Break is.
