And I help family businesses or multiple shareholder businesses where complexity, history & relationships are getting in the way of progress. Where the business could move forward, if only the human dynamics would allow it.
These are not “high-ticket clients” to me.
They are people running real businesses, carrying real responsibility, & often feeling the weight of it quietly.
Of course, the fee matters. Sustainable businesses need healthy margins. But when the primary lens becomes “how much can I charge this person”, something important has already gone wrong.
EOS is built on helping leadership teams get what they want from their businesses. Not taking from them. Helping them.
When the focus shifts from service to extraction, trust erodes. And without trust, there is no traction.
The irony is this. The people who obsess over high ticket clients often struggle with retention, referrals & fulfilment. Clients know when they are being treated like a cheque rather than a human.
The businesses doing the best work tend to talk very differently. They talk about fit. About value. About impact. About whether they can genuinely help.
They price accordingly. They deliver fully. And they sleep at night.
So yes, this phrase winds me up. Not because money is bad, but because language reveals mindset. And mindset shapes behaviour.
I am not interested in high-ticket clients.
I am interested in the right clients.
Clients, I can serve properly.
Clients who get real value.
Clients whose businesses are better because we worked together.
Everything else is just noise.
